Using Xero’s bank reconciliation to save time processing business expenses
As any solopreneur or freelancer knows, time is precious and the more time you spend delivering your core products and services the more revenue you can generate. This is why it’s so important to reduce the time you spend on your admin tasks including the bookkeeping.
While Xero is an amazing tool for your business but it’s key you use it in the most effective and efficient way, and one huge time saving tip is to processing all your expense transactions directly in Xero’s bank reconciliation.
To do this you just need to click on the Reconcile xx items button on your bank account in the Xero dashboard.
From there you use the Create tab to enter the relevant details of your transaction and when you are done you hit the OK button to finalise the transaction.
Then it’s just a matter of repeating for each transaction until your business expenses are processed.
